Abstract In this research, we are trying to reject Kasravi's claim that Sheikh Safi's poems are Azeri based on the Selseletolnasab manuscript. Then we try to show how the importance of the old dialect of Gilan was found by Sheikh Safi and Turkish Sufis of Azerbaijan, considering the importance of Sheikh Zahid Gilani.
