Abstract
On June 24th, 1920 a new state called Azadistan was established in Tabriz that is believed to be a consequence and impact of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (1918-1920). One of the leaders of newly founded National Government Mirza Taghikhan Mahammad Tabrizi well known as Rafet was a creator of simple prose (sheire-nou) and put in a great deal of effort to make renovations in literature. Literary school founded by him was called “Rafetisepti”. He taught different subjects such as literature, geography, geometry, art and French language in Trabzon (Turkey) madrasah “Naseh” and in Tabriz (Iran)madrasah “Mahammadiyye”. He worked as an editor of newspaper “Tajaddud” and journal“Azadistan”. Mirza Taghikhan, whose poems written in Turkish, Persian and French had great novelty value for Iran literature, fell victim to political struggle and died very young in 1920.
