Abstract
This article examines the formation of the "Azerbaijan Democratic Party" during the years 1945–1946, its goals and activities, and the leadership role of Seyyed Jafar Pishevari in this movement, based on historical documents. This movement emerged after the fall of Reza Shah, amidst Iran's sensitive political and social conditions, and demanded internal autonomy and extensive reforms for Azerbaijan.
